Transport & Delivery (Shipping)

What are the delivery options?

If you need to receive the order urgently outside the fortnightly delivery, you must choose another delivery option. The price for deliveries outside the main delivery is as follows: €6 up to 5kgs, and €1 extra for each additional 1kg.

Returns and Refunds

Can I return coffee products or get a refund?

Due to the nature of the product, we cannot accept returns of coffee bags. However, A Sargento Martinho wants its customers to be happy – if there is a problem with your coffee, or there is an error with your order, please contact us here. It will be our pleasure to give you the help you need, either through something different that you will like, or through a refund.

Coffee

How should I keep my coffee beans?

Store your coffee in a place with low humidity, little sunlight, and at room temperature. The best method of preserving coffee and maintaining the highest level of freshness is in a container with no vent (such as the Airscape). We advise you not to put the coffee in the fridge, as moisture will infiltrate the beans, which will result in a loss of quality. It is also important to note that coffee beans easily absorb odours and flavours that surround them – pay attention!

How long does A Sargento coffee stay fresh and consumable?

Still inside our sealed bags, we recommend that you consume the coffee by the date shown on the package, which is 60 days after roasting. After opening the bag, we recommend that the beans be consumed within 3 to 4 weeks, to enjoy each bean to the fullest.

I can’t find my favorite coffee anymore, where did it go?

Like other fresh edibles, coffee is seasonal. As we are dedicated to always having exceptional specialty coffee, throughout the year you will find different coffees, often from different farms and cooperatives. To guarantee and promote sustainability in the coffee harvesting process, Sargento works only with small producers, which means that the coffee you will find will always be from small batches and therefore will not be here for a long time. But don’t be sad – we will always find a new coffee with similar characteristics to the previous one, sometimes even from the same producer, that will dazzle you and maybe even remind you of your previous favorite coffee.
