Description
This organic coffee processed by the wet and dry method in raised African beds is produced by the company Metad on the Hambela farm, located just over 400 km south of the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, in the region of Oromia, called Guji, known as produce coffees with mild notes of spicy spices.
This farm was founded in 2013 and extends over 200 hectares, covered by a dense forest. It is a forest where endemic species and trees grow, some of which are extremely old.
Metad is a company very aware of the importance of preserving this natural heritage, which is an additional source of value for the coffee produced here. It is mainly by protecting the local know-how of farmers that the environment will be maintained.
On the farm, much attention is paid to the different stages of preparation, including harvesting, storage, etc.
